Background

Mission For All (MIFA) is located in Kampala District, in the central region of Uganda with offices situated at Plot 860 Balintuma Road in Mengo, Rubaga Division approximately 5km from Kampala City center. MIFA was founded in 1981 to offer emergency relief to victims of war mainly women and children. Over time MIFA started to address specific needs affecting vulnerable children especially the need for their education.

In addition, the majority of the guardians of the MIFA sponsored children were widows with social, economic and spiritual needs. Most of these guardians had been widowed as a result of civil conflicts in Uganda and the HIV/AIDS scourge in the 1980s. MIFA saw the need to make interventions and provide support for skills development, income generating activities, knowledge sharing for positive living particularly for those who were infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

MIFA’s core program focuses on the educational development of the vulnerable child and development support to the family the child comes from. Other programs include; Street Children Rehabilitation and family re-union and Evangelism and family development.

Our major development partner, (Donor) is Missionswerk Frohe Botschaft (MFB) based in Germany. MIFA is open to any development partner who wishes to join hands with her for the cause of vulnerable and needy orphans and street children. These children need school fees for quality education so as to live meaningful and sustainable livelihood for their future.
