MIFA has 40 acres of land at Namasumbi village in Mukono District for a pro-poor focused Sustainable Agriculture Program. This well-intended initiative will introduce the targeted households to the multiple benefits of embracing ecological farming like improved food security backed by healthy foods, improved incomes and overall improvements in the general standards of living. The current on-going agricultural initiatives include; crop farming, animal and poultry rearing as well as tree planting. We have planted 1.5 acres of Hass Avocado and 1 Acre of Castor Oil plants as a pilot project.
